Jorge Luis Borges is an Argentine poet, author and translator, born in Buenos Aires.

He has been described as potentially being “the most important figure in Spanish-language literature since Cervantes.”

His poems and stories have been described as both surreal, “interconnected by common themes such as dreams, labyrinths, libraries, animals, fictional writers, religion and God.”
